Eleven new films will be unveiled next Saturday, 27th September at the AFU’s eleventh annual screening. If that seems a tad too neat, fear not; the range of styles and genres is wider than ever before. Documentaries and animations are joined by live action fictions, abstract work and the AFU’s first music video.
The evening will also see the first presentation of two new awards in honour of the AFU’s founding father, legendary British documentary maker Michael Grigsby, who died in 2013. We are thrilled to announce that the awards, specially designed by Mike’s creative collaborator and AFU tutor Rebekah Tolley, will be presented at the end of the evening by Mike’s brother, Chris Grigsby.
